I have been working with Lynn now for about a year and half. I am educated counselor and have studied everything I could get my hands on to break old, destructive patterns mostly for well over a decade. Yet, with my education and knowledge it wasn’t enough to break those patterns of fear, self doubt, unworthiness, and pain from my childhood. The “ old story” even though destructive was comforting in the fact that it was who I told myself I was. Lynn like everyone and everything else, told me to “ let go and by doing that I could begin a new happier story of my life. However, the perceived pain was deeper than words and it wasn’t that simple, is what I told myself. Then one morning as I was in the shower with the hot water running down my skin, I saw and image of me exiting the birth canal, another flash of me as a child, the lanky teenager, the woman I am now, and finally I rose into a beautiful goddess, rising out of a white lotus flower. I cried as the water kissed my skin and anointed me with the love that I had denied myself for so long. I was re- birthed that day into the light from which I am and the love from which I came. Lynn is a shaman, a goddess, a mother, sister, friend, healer, and birther of the soul. Lynn shines the light into the parts of us we have denied for so long. Lynn is the sun behind every cloud of our fears.
