Eating Well...
Nutrition is such an important part of your whole well being. It does not matter if you are a vegetarian , a vegan, or you eat meats. I am not promoting one above another, because it is YOUR body that will let you know what it needs or doesn't need.
I will say that I do prefer receiving my vitamins and minerals from natural sources rather then from supplements! That is just my opinion! I will list here several places for you to check out so you can try some different things and learn what is right for your beautiful temple!.
I look at it this way:
You are the flower that is blooming in the garden...what type of soil do you want to be rooted in? I like the notion of moist, nutrient rich soil! That is not to say that there isn't the occasional pollination from some not so "healthy" sources, but it is only occasionally!
I am a HUGE fan of herbs and infused drinks! I think you can get some of your best vitamins and minerals that way. Make smoothies, and juice what ever you can!
Our bodies need to be filled with the most natural and most organic foods possible. Please respect your temple enough to give it the best you can!
I know not everyone lives in an area that provides fresh fruit and veggies year round, so you have to do what is the next best thing! What I mean by that is if you can't get fresh, try frozen as opposed to canned. Most frozen fruits and veggies contain most of their nutrients.
Drink plenty of water, and get plenty of rest! Some sort of exercise is always a good thing! You don't have to be a marathon runner in order to go out and run! You can do a jog and work your way up, or you can use a treadmill or you can walk! Again, do what is best for YOUR body! If you have bad knees, then running may not be an option, so try walking, or swimming. Yoga is another great form of exercise!
